Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil

  • 2 tablespoons baking soda

  • 1/3 cup arrow root powder

Optional: add an Essential Oil of your choice

Directions:
  • mix all ingredients in a small pot and gently warm on low heat on the stove

  • stir frequently and allow ingredients to blend evenly

  • pour mixture into glass container with a lid and allow to cool

Application:
  • after deodorant has cooled, scoop a small amount out with your fingers

  • add a drop or two of essential oil if you would like

  • gently rub under arms

Tip:

If you do not add essential oil to your deodorant when making it, you have the option to wear it fragrance-free.

Then just add a drop or two of your preferred essential oil to your daily dose of deodorant in your palm when you want a gentle scent. You can mix it up depending on how you feel that day.

One of my favorite essential oils to add is sweet orange.

*Do not apply immediately after shaving under arms. If you experience skin irritation or other adverse effects, discontinue use.
